APAN 57 Report

The Asia Pacific Advance Network successfully held its 57th Conference and Meeting at the Eastin Hotel, Payathai Bangkok Thailand on January 29 to February 2, 2024. The conference secretariat recorded a total of 324 participants in this year’s conference from 28 different countries, of which 163 attendees are international participants while 161 are from Thailand.

The conference committee also solicited support from its 19 partner institutions who significantly provided its support and assistance to the organizers of this year’s conference.

APAN usually hold its bi-annual meeting to gather experts, thought leaders and visionaries from Asia-Pacific region and be-yond from diverse fields who has common interests on innovation, information sharing and international collaboration; they work together and commit to fostering excellence in advanced networking and research infrastructure.

Specifically for this year’s conference, participants had the privilege of immersing themselves in an agenda that spans the spectrum of human ingenuity – from groundbreaking technological breakthroughs to proposing solutions for critical global issues.

The participants al-so enjoyed the hospitality of the Thai people through cultural immersion and appreciation. Thailand’s rich tapestry of history and traditions truly provided an inspiring backdrop for forging new partnerships and collaborations and deepening existing ones. Indeed, APAN 57 meet has been momentous and truly remarkable.
