The Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN) continues to champion cross-border collaboration through a series of newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with key regional and international partners. These agreements mark APAN’s growing role as a catalyst for research, innovation, and digital inclusion across the Asia-Pacific and beyond. Each MoU serves as more than a symbolic gesture — it’s a framework for collective action, shared knowledge, and capacity building among National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), universities, research organizations, and technology institutions.

APAN x TEIN*CC: Strengthening the Asia-Pacific’s Digital Backbone

Through this MoU, APAN and TEIN*CC reaffirm their mission to advance research and education networking across Asia-Pacific through capacity building, trust and identity frameworks, and innovation initiatives.

APAN x ASREN: Bridging Asia-Pacific and the Arab World

This partnership strengthens inter-regional cooperation between APAN and the Arab States Research and Education Network, fostering knowledge exchange and digital transformation initiatives.

APAN x UniNet: Advancing Digital Education Networks

The partnership with Thailand’s UniNet enhances connectivity and collaboration across over 10,000 educational institutions, expanding research and digital education opportunities.

APAN x HII: Data for Water and Climate Resilience

Collaboration with Thailand’s Hydro-Informatics Institute focuses on hydroinformatics, environmental data sharing, and regional climate resilience efforts.

APAN x SOI Asia: Empowering Regional Resilience Through Education

In partnership with Keio University’s SOI Asia, APAN will co-develop digital learning platforms and webinars promoting resilient education systems.

 

APAN x RSE Asia Association: Building a Community of Research Software Engineers
