Objective:
To advance the adoption and deployment of IPv6, raise awareness, and promote cooperation and knowledge exchange in the area of IPv6 deployment, the APAC IPv6 Council and the APAN IPv6 and 5G Working Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Key Provisions:
· IPv6 Advocacy and Education: Both parties pledge to work together to promote IPv6 adoption and educate stakeholders, including the general public, businesses, and government organizations, on the benefits of this technology.
· Technical Collaboration: The MoU describes procedures for exchanging technical know-how, best practices, and research results pertaining to IPv6 deployment, resolving shared difficulties, and working together on technical projects and initiatives.
· Policy and Advocacy: At the regional, national, and international levels, both parties consent to work together to advance regulatory frameworks and policy decisions that facilitate IPv6 adoption and deployment.
